He has acted in more than a hundred feature films, and, in addition to performing leading roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company, he has starred in Great Britain’s National Theatre, the Stratford Festival of Canada, and sixteen Broadway plays. He has been nominated for seven Tony Awards and won twice for Best Actor for Barrymore and Cyrano. He lives in Connecticut.
