Everyone can say "get over it," but for most people who have something in their past, whether it's a lost job, lost love, whatever, it's one thing to say it. It's another thing to do it, because you still want justice, closure, and also..most people want a "do-over."

Every fall, it's back-to-school for America's kids -- and back to the dreaded nighttime routine called homework. Even elementary school-age children have an hour or two of work every night, because, we're told, that's what will help them be competitive later on. But now Alfie Kohn turns all the conventional wisdom about homework completely upside down, and exposes how little actual value there is in forcing kids to take their schoolwork home. His new book is called "The Homework Myth."
