Sometimes people say, you're obsessed with death. And I say, wait a minute! To me, the writers who are obsessed with death are the ones who write those serial-killer novels ... In my books, it's true, somebody dies in all my books, but the death itself is usually about half a page, and the [rest is] all about life, and things that you learn in life, and what you learned from that person's life.
