Christopher Plummer took home the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor Sunday night, for his role as an elderly widower in “Beginners.”

At age 82 Plummer becomes the oldest Oscar winner ever. He is two years older than Jessica Tandy was when she won Best Actress for “Driving Miss Daisy.”

Congratulations, to one of Eye on Books’ favorite actors!
