Vince Flynn, Gone Much Too Soon
June 19th, 2013

Cancer this morning took the life of the prolific and popular Vince Flynn, at the far too young age of 47.
I met Vince in 1998, while he was touring for his first thriller “Term Limits” – a book originally rejected by all the big houses, and subsequently self-published. After it became a bestseller, Vince signed a two-book deal with Simon & Schuster.
Since that first interview, Vince and I talked almost every year, but his fall 2009 tour stop in Washington, D.C. turned out to be his last.
Vince was a good and loyal friend to Eye on Books, and I will miss him. RIP, good friend.
