One of the most influential advocates for comic books in our time is iconic artist Art Spiegelman, who’s been putting pen to paper since he was a boy.

Spiegelman played a significant role in underground comics in the ’60s and ’70s. In 1978, he published an anthology called “Breakdowns” — which has now been republished, with new material. And it may be the closest we’ll ever get to an Art Spiegelman autobiography.
