Christina Asquith “Sisters in War”

Overlooked in most discussions of the war in Iraq is any mention of women’s lives, and the effort to improve their situation, under U.S. occupation. When journalist Christina Asquith befriended two Iraqi sisters, and two Americans – a soldier and a women’s rights advocate – she had the foundation for her book “Sisters in War.”
