Shame is very powerful. Useful in the moment, destructive when it lingers, shame is a burden all of us carry. Unless we learn how to free ourselves of that burden.

But their book “Dancing at the Shame Prom” is not a discouraging nor depressing litany of shamefulness. It’s the opposite ….

it’s an uplifting, even exhilarating exorcism of the destructive kind of shame.
