Koethi Zan “The Never List”
July 25th, 2013

It sounds like the kind of story that they say is “ripped from today’s headlines,” but Koethi Zan‘s debut novel “The Never List” is almost eerie in the way it resembles a real-life story that unfolded long after she’d finished writing it .

“The Never List” is a story of courage, resilience, survival in the face of unimaginable evil.
Two young women — Sarah and Jennifer — are kidnapped and held captive for years in a man’s basement. Only Sarah gets out alive, and now the story picks up ten years later, when their captor is about to come up for parole. And Sarah can no longer ignore the twisted letters he’s been sending her from jail.
