Laura Arens Fuerstein “My Mother, My Mirror”
April 5th, 2009

We’ve all been to the carnival and had a good time looking at ourselves in the funhouse mirrors. The distorted way our bodies look makes us laugh. But what if you’re going through life, seeing yourself as though you’re looking in a carnival mirror all the time? That’s not funny at all.
Psychotherapist Laura Arens Fuerstein wants to help women break the carnival mirror, by realizing where it came from in the first place: mom. Her book is called “My Mother, My Mirror.”
