Lynn Sherr “Outside The Box”
September 13th, 2006

Few journalists have the opportunity to shape our culture at the same time they are helping cover it. One of them is veteran ABC-TV correspondent Lynn Sherr, who was told by editors when she first tried to break into journalism some 40 years ago that “we don’t hire girls.”

She proved her mettle, though, establishing a reputation for thoughtful and honest reporting, covering not just the growing feminist movement, but also the space program and politics. Now she’s written a memoir, which she calls “Outside the Box.”
