Mary Pipher “Seeking Peace”

In the 1990s one of the most-talked-about nonfiction books was a landmark book about adolescent girls by psychotherapist Mary Pipher called “Reviving Ophelia.” It made Pipher a media celebrity.
But as her reputation grew, her inability to deal with it did, too, finally resulting in a meltdown that changed her life. As she tells in her new book, she had to find a way to reclaim herself. Pipher calls her book “Seeking Peace: Chronicles of the Worst Buddhist in the World.”
