Michael Sears “Black Fridays”
September 20th, 2012
Jason Stafford is a man who’s trying – for the first time – to connect with his five-year-old autistic son. But he’s distracted at the moment…..
Stafford has just gotten out of prison, where he served a short sentence for his shenanigans as a Wall Street hotshot, in the new Michael Sears thiller “Black Fridays.”
Sears is, himself, a former Wall Street hotshot. a onetime managing director at Paine Webber and Jeffries & Co., before leaving the business in 2005.
His protagonist Stafford is trying to put his life back together, but appears to be all but unemployable – until an investment firm asks him to look into possible problems left by a junior trader who died in an “accident.”
What Stafford discovers is big – there are problems, all right, the kind that get you killed.
