In her first children’s book, “Tilly the Trickster,” Shannon calls upon her own fond childhood memories to create a sly little girl named Tilly who loves to play tricks, on her parents, her unwitting little brother, even her hapless teacher. Until one of her tricks goes just a bit too far, and there is some pushback.
