After a huge earthquake devastates Afghanistan, U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Michael Parson is dispatched, to help distribute aid, and to assist U.S. and Afghan forces in their task, in the new Tom Young thriller “The Renegades.”

But Parson runs into trouble right away, as there are hostile forces in Afghanistan that don’t want any American aid getting anywhere near anybody – and they’ll kill, to achieve that aim.

Parson is joined by interpreter, Sergeant Major Sophia Gold in what looks like a near-impossible task – keep the earthquake aid flowing, keep the troops safe, and stay alive.
